Beautiful area. Airport management was cordial. Rode the shuttle from rubys into town. Fine spot to overnight. Keep it light for the high density altitude.

8/2025 - There is a car parked at the airport that is available on Turo. But there are e-bikes for hire and a fine bike path into town - 3 miles. The national park has seasonal shuttles that stop in town town and all the major stops in the park (run every 5-10 minutes, very simple!). Rubies Hotel also mentioned they would pick up at the airport, but only until 9pm. Simple to fly in and see the town and park using a combination of park shuttles, bikes, hotel pickup, and Turo.
