I went to BAX to drop my plane off at FlyBoyz for an upgrade. Chris at Bayfront was fantastic. He kept me apprised of the runway condition (recent snowfall had covered the airport). He also took time out of his day to drive me to saginaw to catch my flight home. It was a good experience and I will certainly be back.

I've been to KBAX twice on weekends. Once Chris happened to be in and lent us his personal vehicle so we could grab lunch. The second time he had a neighbor go over and put a note on the keys so the crew car would be accessible when we arrived; he then called ahead to Rachel's and arranged a discount for us. Wonderful service aside, the facilities are beautifully kept, the fuel costs were quite competitive, and they have self service JET-A+.

Flew to KBAX with my wife to visit Port Austin. The FBO controller ‘Chris’ was fantastic. He loaned us a car for the afternoon and his communication couldn’t have been better. We had a good time - airport was in fine condition and FBO was spotless.
