Kind & useful!

Fine small airport under unmanned terminal, but two crew cars and the most affordable gas in three states.

Drawing a line from our home base south of Dallas to the westernmost part of the arrival queue at OSH, this airport was close and had some of the cheapest fuel en route. Fuel was as advertised. About 4 aircraft stopped in while we were there. There’s a courtesy car available, too, but most of us were just taking a break before flying the conga line at OSH. The FBO was unattended but fine and air conditioned.

Good price for fuel, tidy facilities and a fine spot to stop.

I frequently stop at AWG for the reasonably priced fuel fuel. Self-serve fuel system is new and simple to operate. Terminal building is accessible 24/7, clean and pleasant, fine place for the family to hang out while I pump fuel. I can usually be in and out in under 20 minutes. Good stop.

First stop here. Simple in and out. Affordable self-service 100LL. The FBO is unstaffed as previously stated, but it is tidy and well kept. It is a fine stop.

I stoped in Washington on my way north to central MN from Florida. The weather in MN was LIFR with strong winds. I ended up staying two (2) nights in town. This airport is a GOOD stop. I’ve been here before as fuel is always reasonable, but this trip having access to a courtesy car for the entire weekend was above and beyond super customer service. I enjoyed the friendly Iowa hospitality and would encourage all pilots to stop in Washington.
