Avon Park Executive Airport at Avon Park Executive Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

Fuel farm was down AGAIN at 10:20 PM on July 11. 🤦‍♂️ Is this simply normal for this airport, or are we really meant to buy that it was a one-time issue? The incompetence is unbelievable, and the city’s so-called leadership acts like they have things handled-but nothing ever gets better. #AirportFail #LeadershipMatters #DoBetter

Zero stars.... Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for self-serve fuel. The pump was out of service, and the posted prices hadn't been updated. The FBO was locked, and the door code provided didn't work. Another aircraft tried reaching someone at the airport, but every number went straight to voicemail.

Self service fuel pump currently inop. Might be accessible during operating hours. I arrived after 5pm and was unable to get fuel.

Stopped in late afternoon on 11/5/22. Nobody around but self-serve gas was accessible.

$10/day ramp charge, but bring your own tie down. The few spots that have any use rope left over from the golden age of sail.

I wouldn't choose to land here myself. Fuel is cheap, sure, but my buddy and I spent about 30 mins waiting on the fuel operator and had to call over and over. The taxiway layout is kind of confusing too. Not sure if construction is the reason, but call ahead and avoid 11:30-12:30 if you can. I'm pretty sure that's the worker's lunch break, and if anything goes wrong, you're gonna be waiting a minute.

Since the city took the airport back over, it’s really made a turnaround into a very positive experience! Full service and self service fuel is working great, and the prices are the best around! All the airport lighting has been repaired, the AWOS is fixed, and the grounds maintenance has the field looking great. After talking with the airport manager, there are plenty of improvements in the works. Can't wait to see how it develops.

Some of the most affordable fuel in the state and a fine 24hr pilot lounge
