Really fine FBO.

Very fine FBO With ample space. Some memorabilia from the past history of the airport, a room for flight planning, modern, clean bathrooms, and a kitchen area. Mike was there when we flew in, and was a fantastic host. The crew car was being used so he offered to take us to our hotel in his own truck. My wife and I couldn't believe his generosity. An incredible guy with a history of public service. Ask him to play a song for you, and he will break out his guitar and do just that.

Be careful this FBO does not update fuel prices. Usually shows less than they are charging! Also, they now charge for overnight.

Quiet airport. Simple in and out for fuel stop. Helpful Airport manager on site, coffee and snacks in FBO.

Good airport with fantastic facilities. Was offered a courtesy van and hangar space. Fuel costs were great and friendly staff. Had a good summer vacation at Lake James! Highly recommended!
