Anderson Regional Airport (KAND)

Honestly, this was the best fuel stop I've ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful-they marshaled us in and showed us where the self-serve pump was. The airport also has a really nice playground for kids, and they even gave our son a little foam glider. They recommended Sullivan's in downtown Anderson, which turned out to be a nice little town. Highly recommend!

Clean facilities, friendly folks. Fuel was expensive, but the price was shown accurately.

Landed here today in our company CJ after a divert from CEU. Mike, Steve, and the other employees here are fantastic! Really fine, clean and modern facility. Enterprise also did a superb job hustling a car last minute so we had ground transportation when we landed. A superb experience all the way around!

Service & hospitality at its finest. New terminal a beautiful destination. Add superb service & you know you are important. 100LL price not bad, & waived the tie down fee the one evening. I always purchase some to help out - they appreciated it. Uber available & prompt. Anderson and the Bleckley Inn are a good getaway. Museums, parks, restaurants, music and brewpubs in a small town environment. Finally, offered a ride the 50 yards to the plane! Seriously...

My favorite airport anywhere in the upstate. RW 17/35 got re-paved in 2026, while RW 05/23 was redone several years back. It is longer and wider than GMU, which makes it a great option for business jet arrivals. Jet fuel is cheaper here than at any other airport in the area. The staff is exceptionally helpful, accommodating, and courteous. The GM is an experienced, committed airman and A&P, a second-generation airport manager, and just an all-around good guy. Very highly recommended stop!
