Bode Aero Services at Double Eagle II Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

April 1, 2026The Bode line and front desk teams are consistently friendly and ready to help. A number of the line crew are pilots working toward different certs, and that shows in how carefully they look after your airplane. The upstairs restaurant is open again and putting out yummy food-just keep an eye on your weight and balance! :). Stuart and everyone in the maint-shop are approachable and happy to lend a hand.

August 18, 2025I have been using Bode for the past three years, I have never had a poor encounter there. The personnel is always welcoming and prepared to assist, ATC is quite effective with a broad selection of traffic. Bode is the finest spot to stop in the ABQ area. I fly in from North East New Mexico at least one time every two weeks.

August 10, 2024Flew in last week in my Saratoga and received fine service. I was let down to discover that the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday. Plan to stop in again for fuel and lunch in a couple of weeks so hopefully I will have the same friendly service.

July 16, 2024Decent facility. The restrooms were not the finest. Opted to use the crew car to dine in town instead of the restaurant.

June 15, 2024Good alternative for the Albuquerque area. Arrived after the FBO was closed with my twin Aztec. Very welcoming local stopped to say hello and confirm we didn't need anything. No problem getting an Uber to the city. Fast fuel in the morning and also bought a couple quarts of oil. Fine clean facilities. There are two self serve pumps: one by the FBO and one at the north end of the ramp (which is the newer one). Would stop there again.

February 28, 2026We've put in there twice lately. Not sure why there hasn't been a marshaller either time. Still, fueling was handled without any trouble. The inside is decent, and the cafe has reopened. The FBO basically just tells you to contact the rental car company yourself-Enterprise, at least. It worked alright.

January 9, 2026Flew X/C out of Texas bound for the west coast. Picked up some engine roughness along the way. Did a mag check in the air, and it got rougher. Landed and checked the mags again. Stuart and his team pulled the plugs, found a bad one, swapped it out and gapped the rest of the plugs. Great service! Wish he was closer for annuals

February 8, 2025Bode Aero saved our journey. We were flying coast to coast in our Mooney 201 and had an electrical issue approaching the Albuquerque area. We opted to try the smaller airport hoping to find GA friendly service. We were met with exactly that at Bode Aero. Stewart and the maintenance crew jumped right on the problem, found and fixed the issue within an hour and got us back flying. The personnel at the FBO were all friendly and there was a nice comfortable spot to wait.

July 10, 2024Fine 1 week stay, decent facility and clean restrooms. Very attractive tie down rates for my stay. Nice people. Avionics tech, Nate, went out of his way to help me. I understand he's new with Bode, a keeper. Upstairs restaurant does look like much, but looks are deceiving. A killer club sandwich and a magnificent homemade chocolate and graham crust dessert worth 4x the price paid. Use Lyft, I had no luck with Uber and no problem with Lyft. C210.

May 28, 2024Good FBO staff and facilities! Pleasant quick turn around while we charged our devices and rested a bit for a stop. Eatery is closed Monday and Tuesday (I should have noticed that) but simple in and out with a fine staff. Will certainly be back in. Thanks!
