March 20, 2024Flew in on a Saturday to go on a day hike. 1st time here. Superb FBO. We had full access to the fbo as well as the courtesy car even though nobody else was around. Fully stocked kitchen, showers & inexpensive fuel too. Good experience, solid crosswind landing on 26...

August 13, 2021We were in the area for over a week doing utility work with a helicopter and it was good for getting self serve fuel after hours Jet-A. Second to none, new facility .They are all about the GA. Wonderful people here. Thank you.

April 20, 2025Stopped on Easter Sunday and was greeting by the airport manager and another fellow, sorry didn't catch your name. They came right out to the plane and helped me fuel. They even started the courtesy car and let it cool down while signing the paperwork. Good job guys!!!! Fine fuel prices too!!! 5 STARS!!!!

December 4, 2021Went there yesterday to get fuel and check on the area. Good clean place but unattended. There is a courtesy car. To use it you must phone the airport manager to obtain the code for the lockbox. I phoned several times with no reply and after 45 minutes I departed. If you go there I would call beforehand.

October 15, 2021Couldn’t concur more with all of the other positive posts about this airport. Stopped in for fuel because of the good price. Fantastic scenery, facilities, and a fine place to stretch your legs in Kentucky hill country. If you’re primarily a flatland flyer, this pattern/approach is one you’ll remember and want to shoot again. Highly recommend.

March 8, 2021To start, I feel bad about waiting so long to comment about my good experience at this facility. My wife and I were en route to Frankfort Kentucky on 2/28/20, when we needed to stop for fuel after dealing with strong headwinds. It was late one night and we were trying to beat a snow storm. When we landed at I35 and taxied to the fuel pump, a young man came over and assisted. He said he had already left for the day, but observed a plane coming in so decided to come back to see if we needed help. While helping me fuel my plane, I told him we were trying to beat the storm. He offered to take us somewhere or said we could make ourselves at home at the FBO (which was a beautiful FBO) and offered advice for our departure. We made it to Frankfort safely, despite the snow! Will definitely plan to stop by when we have more time to visit! Oh..... and he gave us his cell number in case we needed anything later! Thank you Adam! Todd and Tara
