FBO structure and inside are quite fine. The fuel pumps are self serve and handy. Runway is broad and well kept. I saw one more remark about bringing your own tie downs. I did not know it implied that you must bring physical ground anchors for your plane. You must park in the turf and the surface is really uneven and damp. You must bring your own ground anchors and tie down straps. When I was there, the grass was higher than I might have thought. -Cirrus SR22

Interesting facility. There is not much of an FBO. You park on the turf and depart when you depart. The self serve fuel is handy. There is a flight school in the FBO structure and the teachers there are cordial. Be sure to bring tie downs if you are planning overnight or phone ahead. People are cordial and supportive. Fore flight has Chicago Center for ifr clearance. When I phoned them,they gave Cedar Rapids approach telephone number.. Everything worked out fine.
