Flying directly over an airport with an active parachute drop zone is not the safest concept.

Overflew this little airport at about 2000 ft yesterday! “Markings faded” doesn’t do it justice. Those markings are almost gone. Those are ghosts of markings. They’re totally invisible from afar, and are still hard to pick out from the rest of the asphalt even flying directly over the runway.
