Springfield Municipal Airport (8V7)

Great place for fuel and an overnight stop. The runway is in excellent shape, and so is the newer ramp at the north end, which has the very nice new 100LL self-serve fuel. The south-end ramp, where the pilot lounge, bathroom, and three tie-downs are located, is concrete and also in excellent condition. Taxi on the runway between the two areas since the taxiways are in poor shape. Welcoming airport with a courtesy car. Brett was very helpful and kind when you call to check on fuel and the courtesy car status.

Pilots lounge and restrooms are on the far SE side in the very last hanger. Very welcoming help finding it! Good small airport! Good for pitstops too.
