Overnight stays are not allowed. This airstrip is basically a private area for oilfield survey planes. I was even informed they were trying to officially make the field private. Heavy company departures starting at 8:00am and arrivals around 3:00pm. Underneath KMAF Charlie shelf with many close obstacles, especially to the NE. It is best to approach from the east or south to avoid the Charlie and most obstacles. Prepare cautiously. No fuel receipts and $/g not displayed, needed to inquire about the cost.

FYI - the airport owner (American Pipeline Patrol) does NOT permit overnight stays.
