September 16, 2025Flew in yesterday in my Baron for overnight with friends. Flew out today. Beautiful, well kept but unattended. Superb self serve facility. Chocks and tie down rings but no tie down ropes or chains. Ramp slopes away from pump station and your plane will roll until chocked. Securely fenced so call ahead for code. CAUTION, this is a true mountain airport with rising terrain to the north, a HIGH ridge to the south and a hundred foot ? berm running parallel to the runway on the west side.

July 4, 2024Dropped in on a quiet Saturday hoping to see some STOL training for JAARS. No luck. Also, no luck with the "SuperASOS"...3 clicks did not give me any field conditions, and 4 clicks did not give me a radio check. I'm quite certain the ASOS sensors are working because I could get the field conditions/wx via their phone number. Pilot lounge locked up tight, and, I had no luck finding the code for the door key. Restroom is accessible without pilot lounge access...FORTUNATELY!!

April 11, 2024Landed here for 100LL yesterday and the facility is good. Runway, ramp and self serve pumps appear to be fairly new. Based on terrain 17 is better for landing and 35 is best for departure. I landed on 35 because of a pretty stiff northerly breeze so it can certainly be done but it's pretty much a carrier landing with a constant left hand curve to a very short final. Departing 35 with a westerly turn out of traffic was no issue but there is terrain in all quadrants. Very fine airport.
