October 26, 2025Superb spot.. superb airport managers ! Called, arrived...assistance provided...part loaned (hopefully to be returned tomorrow)..no call out charges, hassle/trouble...just good old fashioned grass airstrip community ...

May 13, 2024Fine turf field, properly kept up. Entry to terminal structure is standard MI airport mix. Good destination for a meal or staying overnight. Phone Zehnders Restaurant (989-652-0471) for transport to town 4-9 weekdays and 2-9 weekends. Strongly suggest.

September 26, 2023Field was good today. Called Bavarian Inn for pickup to the restaurant. Free and quick. Waited around 10 minutes. Tipped the shuttle driver. Made an open table reservation for the restaurant when we landed. Was fine to sit in the quiet at the picnic table on the deck at the airport before we departed. Shower in bathroom is available.
