Preferred airport with favorite EAA Chapter 77. EAA workshop here is likely the most fully equipped one you will ever see. Has everything to work on a plane, including a paint booth. They even have a G1000 flight sim for you to log Sim Instrument time or maintain IFR currency. Father John's Flying club on field has a Cherokee 140 for 50$ / hr dry. Do not think you can fly for less money than that. This is the quintessential grassroots airport that deserves more new people to come enjoy flying.

As a “Fly In” eatery, the Liberty is A1 !! The food is far above average, the assistance is excellent, and the atmosphere is good for a family oriented restaurant.
