Bob , B95 Travel Air ......first production model Madison is probably the finest place I've landed in a long time. Fuel is reasonable and Mrs. Reynolds insisted she get a soda of my choosing as a courtesy and plans to have a turkey sandwich for me upon arrival. Granted the airfield isn't IAD, but the kindness and personal treatment overshadows anything others can offer. This stop was randomly made but uniquely gifted.

Credit card reader at the self serve pump is unreliable. FBO manager Bobby came to our aid at almost midnight after we called the after hours number, to run our card manually. There was no notam. Suggest calling ahead to ensure fuel is available if flying in after hours.
