July 9, 20264V1 remains the best spot around for fuel at a reasonable price. Self-serve worked great, and the hose reel seemed to be functioning just fine. I’ll be back.

May 6, 2026Fuel prices were awesome. We couldn't get the hose or grounding wire wound back onto their spools because both were inop. The pilot lounge was very comfortable, and we appreciated the courtesy call since no Lyft was available. Great stop.

November 18, 2024Stopped on 4 Oct 2024 in . Delightful airport. Runway and ramp in superb condition. Fueling facility is in superb condition for 100LL. The pilot lounge is immaculate, decorated better than most high end FBOs with local aeronautical memorabilia, air conditioned. Friendly local pilots. There were two crew cars available for use. May 24, 2026Ended up here after IpFOB at Trinidad/Stokes shut down. It's a very basic airport, but it has everything needed for a fuel stop. One of the locals was nice enough to show me how to keep the fuel hose pulled out by using a bit of wire to catch the hose wheel. (Repair parts have apparently been on order for several months). Fuel is cheap, and the gas still works fine in my plane. Honestly, I'm glad the other FBO was closed.

April 10, 2026Went into Spanish Peaks today for some IFR practice -2 approaches. Fuel is still the best-priced around during this energy emergency.

February 6, 2025Avgas pump doesn't print receipts. Grounding cable doesn't spool back. Airport phone number goes straight to voicemail which is full. Otherwise, fine little strip with inexpensive fuel.

October 12, 2022No crew car, no personnel. Needed to take an Uber instead.
