Fine clean and welcoming FBO. Fair fuel costs. Suggest this airport

The “fantastic” FBO is actually shut and locked on the weekends. There is a side door you can utilize to reach a restroom and flight planning computer. But you must phone the number to obtain the code to enter.

Fantastic airport and FBO. Mark couldn’t be more helpful and even assisted me to use the self serve. Gas is a good price and was as advertised. FBO has everything, full kitchen, snacks, outside/indoor seating and kids play area. Another fine touch is the CTAF playing on outside speakers. Will certainly be back.

Michael was super helpful today hooking us up with a courtesy car, recommending eateries for lunch, and even assisting us pump our gas. Good FBO & wonderful customer service. We’ll return!

Good facility that is well managed and supported. Very accommodating and we would have been on our way with a crew car ($20 for a Cadillac overnight) in 5 minutes except that the manager and local aviators were so pleasant that we talked for 30 minutes. Recommended.

Went thru twice recently. Simple self serve fuel and a fine facility for taking a break. Courtesy cars are available if needed. Bit of a slope to the runway but manageable if you are aware. Pleasant airport manager who is working to maintain and improve the airport. RNAV approaches to both ends of the runway.

Trenton R.: My lovely wife and I decided to fly to Carroll County Airport to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in Eureka Springs, a first-time visit. I contacted the airport manager, Mike, to discuss our ground transportation options. I learned of the availability of very reasonably priced courtesy cars, one of which Mike arranged for us to use following our late (after hours) arrival. Toward the end of our week long stay, it became clear that winter storm Izzy was going to include significant icing and snow in the area. I once again contacted Mike to inquire about the availability of a hangar. Mike said that he could accommodate my hangar request, and upon my arrival, helped me roll my 172 into the shelter from the storm. Our planned departure time was delayed by the storm and Mike told me to, “keep the car as long as you like.” We will definitely be back. Carroll County Airport is a top-notch facility with with a very friendly and accommodating manager. Our delayed departure also allowed us to view the beautiful snow covered landscape, both from the ground and from the air.
