I was a little intimidated coming in here at first: final approach over water, a grass strip, and an up-slope landing. But in the end, it turned out to be a piece of cake. It's a really pretty area to fly into. The marina, general store, and Pelican's Landing restaurant are only a short walk away. Try the fresh catfish. Highly recommend it and I'll be back.

Check condition when wet because sometimes runway is closed without a NOTAM.

First time in today. Winds were "enjoyable" and we landed on 25. Large tree that was felled is gone. Approach area wide open. Restaurant was superb.
