Freshly paved runway and ramp, strip is bumpy and a little tight for higher performance singles especially in the summer heat. If departing 17, use caution for the tall trees and be aware that there’s nothing but forest for a ways off the end of the runway. Pilot lounge is closed up and there’s no obvious means of access, but it’s not far from town.

Flew in 11/30/21 after reviewing previous comment. New destination. The runway/ramp is in SUPERB condition, looks like it was just resealed, coated, and striped. 3 tiedown spots with hooks. One open hangar, unknown if occupied. No services or gas. Rode my folding bicycle to Blake Shelton’s Ole Red restaurant in Tishmingo (~3 miles?) from airport.
