Courtesy car available. There is a green late model (1990's) Wrangler with the keys inside. Fine FBO shack with a bathroom. Self service fuel. Wonderful small airport!

Ideal airport for a weekend escape. We secured lodging right on the field. Courtesy car from the FBO was quite useful. We Kayaked on Lower Wilson Pond and visited the B52 memorial crash site. Many fine hiking trails and scenery. As other folks have mentioned, much seaplane traffic, but it makes the location that much more fascinating. Can be somewhat turbulent with the hills/mountains surrounding the locale. - sross0988

Stopped in briefly on a long cross country journey. Fun planes on the ramp with floats. Many float planes in the area so keep your eyes out for traffic as you depart toward the lake. Not everyone has ADSB. On departure we climbed quickly to stay out of VFR traffic site seeing over the lake.
