Truly a special spot. We camped beside our plane. Fee for camping is $12 a night ( pay at the gift shop in the lodge ) and there is a simple air conditioned lounge plus a separate bathroom and shower on the field. We did not try the Big Mouth restaurant but ate at the lodge which was good.

Good spot for a $200 hamburger. Ramp and runway are in superb condition. Scenic approach. Tie downs and chocks available. Bathroom code is CTAF. The restaurant abeam runway 2 is now called Big Mouths and it was very fine. We walked down the park road to get there, but you can probably cut across grass by the runway. No fuel or service but plenty of good airports with cheap 100LL nearby. Highly suggested.

Ditto on the prior remarks. Flew in from Cincinnati. Runway, ramp and tie downs are in superb condition. Walked down the road to the Lake House restaurant for lunch. A big shout out to our server Amanda for serving us a fine meal and also for giving us a ride back to the airport. Certainly worth visiting again.
