Super welcoming and able to unlock the Jet A pump for us after normal hours!

Been up and down the eastern US and Detray is our family's preferred FBO, hands down. Nowhere else have we encountered the welcome that Kevin, his team and the hangar cats offer! Last weekend we arrived for a visit. I phoned ahead to ask about a hangar but all were already taken, but Kevin, the manager, organized for us to utilize a tenant's hangar whose plane was at the mechanic. He even met us at arrival and assisted with bags. Detray is a true benefit to the community.

Kevin was incredibly helpful meeting us after hours and assisting us depart early the next morning. Awesome place to stop, Midwest town with everything you require, would stop thru again!

Stopped in unexpectedly due to snow squalls around 7.30 at night (after closing) and prior to even getting out of the plane Kevin greeted us. He was in his pajamas and said he was listening to his radio calls and knew we were not local so he came out to see if we needed assistance. He arranged for us to put our plane inside, gave us a ride to the lodging and picked us up the next morning. Here is to a good experience on our unexpected visit to Bucyrus. Thank you Kevin!

Wow! This location might be small but they certainly know how to treat you. The personnel would not even permit me to tie my own plane down. (I’m sure he would’ve but insisted on serving his patrons) they fueled me up and tied me all down and made certain we did not require anything else. What true treasures in the GA. Absolutely will return.

Kevin and the Crawford County Airport are true gems in general aviation, you won’t find a more welcoming or more helpful stop anywhere. I called ahead in anticipation of ending my day there to confirm services available. Kevin went out of his way to meet me after hours and ensure that I and my plane were completely looked after. The fbo building is equipped to make short and long stays pleasant and the resident cats form the welcoming committee. Kevin briefed me on choices for dinner and breakfast and offered the courtesy car for use. The field is well maintained and I was happy to find a grass runway right into the wind - a true luxury for a transient biplane tired from a long day of flying. A fine fuel price was an added bonus. At my departure Kevin offered a bag with some snacks for the day’s travels. I avoid corporate fbos in favor of hometown airfields and you’ll find no better than Kevin and the Crawford County Airport.
