April 11, 2024Airport was in good shape - no problems with the runway. Quite accommodating. Small concrete pads situated 1000' down on east side of RWY 36 (bring your own spikes and ropes). The individual who answered the number listed in the AFD was not very kind, but when I showed up I met two people who went out of their way to be helpful. Fine spot to go to Gainesville, but no fuel available. Suggest contacting Tim at (352) 222-9339 for airport info.

March 24, 2024RWY a bit rough. Lots of small sandhills. Northern boundary of the runway is not clearly marked. Nowhere to park if you don't know a property owner. Cool spot. New windsock on the west side of the runway.
