We utilized the Thurston House Inn B&B for a couple night visit. Good welcoming proprietors Hunter and Olivia. Strongly suggest this spot. Complimentary bicycles and Hunter collected us from the airport W95. Its one mile from the airport and a simple walk. And centrally situated in town. Quite fascinating background with this town. Golf cart rental advised and or a car with 4 wheel drive so you can see the beach conveniently, since you are permitted to drive on the beach

We had some older parents who would have a hard time making the fairly brief walk to town so we phoned Wheelie Fun Carts Rentals they picked us up within minutes so we could hire a golf cart. We looked around for hours and when we were done they gave us a ride back to the airport. Plenty to see and do, savor the day.

Good day trip fly in destination. Wheelie Fun Golf Carts will pick you up. Finest way to get around and inexpensive. Several eateries in town. SmacNally's is on the water. They were full so ate at Howard's. Wonderful food and service. Ramp in fine shape with plenty of tie downs even though we brought ours just in case. Fly here to enjoy the vibe and the island life. Loved it. Fly further south to Beaufort if you want more frills.
