The wait is finally over, U82 is back and looking good! Freshest asphalt in the state, come visit and use the bikes to enjoy the Weiser River Trail or the courtesy car to eat or shop in Council. Thanks to the City of Council, ITD/Aero, JUB Engineering, Summit Construction, and Valley Paving for their amazing work and support on this project. We are planning an open house/STOL clinic in the spring of 2026 to celebrate! Note the new runway headings 18 / 36

The asphalt is listed as in fair condition. There are numerous weeds growing thru the runway, and the taxi ways. It's better than grass, but not by a lot!

Awesome place to stop for fuel. Fine grass/dirt strip if you have big tires. They have a courtesy car to use ( sign out over at the bathroom) and bikes in the shed (guard freq). Breakfast can be found in town. Runway is getting resurfaced in the next couple weeks, watch notams!
