Fine paved runway. Left downwind RWY 25 a little close to terrain as others have noted. It's a mountain airstrip; be ready for that. Lovely area deserving of a stop. No services/water/restrooms. The Adobe Cafe is worthy of the walk and has good food. Cafe hours as of Jan'25 OPEN Sun 7am-3pm, Mon 7am-7pm, Fri 7am-3pm. CLOSED TUE WED THU SAT.

Landed for practice plane camping before trip to Oshkosh. Runway good. Ground wind sock damaged but still showed direction. Still a wind sock on big tower midfield.

Landed for a practice plane camping prior to flying and camping by plane at Oshkosh. Runway just fine. I did notice a definite uphill on 25. I had no issue...turbo....but did watch a C-172 depart on 85 degree afternoon on runway 25. They were 75+feet in air by the time they passed the tie down ramp. Fine little cafe just south of 07 approach.....about 20 minute walk. Good food but very odd operating days and hours. Call before you make the walk as no other place to eat.
