March 5, 2026I flew in there today. The airport is about the same as it always is. But the taxiways are really overgrown, and you can't keep low wing wing tips from kind of brushing into the sagebrush. They really need to do something about it. It's pretty bad.

January 10, 2026Flew in just the other day for Commercial XC requirement, yes runway had bushes on either side and most certainly growing over into the edges of everything. AWOS was fine and nobody at the field mid day... casino across street has fine buffet. Not sure if it's a go out of your way spot but at least you could land safe and get some food close by but no fuel, and be CAREFUL on taxiway / ramp area and you'll be fine no tie downs or anything

September 27, 2025Every bit as awful-- or worse-- than others have mentioned. Some of the mesquite is so severe that even high wing clearance is questionable-- steer clear of taxiways-- It is best to exit at the tarmac only and Back taxi on the primary roads. Consider this as a post apocalypse facility-- and you will be just about correct. To reach the casino-- from ramp well north on taxiway 1/4 mile toward the large white tanks-- turn right and wade through waist high shrubs-- then cross the highway.
