March 8, 2024Quaint rural airport. Runway is fine taxiway is fair. Good little pilot lounge well stocked with cold sodas. The airport manager George is fun to talk to and seems to be very accommodating. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

May 31, 2023Wonderful small airport with a fine pilot lounge managed by George the manager of the airport. Very nice gentleman and very helpful and cordial! Runway has fair amount of loose gravel so beware. Good spot to stop for fuel. Btw Joshua control will often allow transits thru the surrounding restricted special use airspace.

April 13, 2023Stopped by the airport while driving thru town today… spoke with Beth (George’s wife) - they live in house on the field and maintain the pilot lounge and crew car. Pilot lounge well-stocked including cold sodas in fridge and BBQ outside (charcoal in pilot lounge). Call ahead to speak with George at 928-592-3427. George’s business card says lights are on 122.8 but ctaf on 122.9. Runway looks to be in good shape.
