The aerodrome has a fine new runway, reasonably priced fuel, and welcoming personnel. We flew in today and met Cheryl, the aerodrome manager, and she directed us to park in one of the 5 numbered spaces to the north of the fuel farm. She was very friendly and welcoming. Parking is $20 without fuel purchase. Auto access is a small road to the east of the runway. Drivers continue onto the ramp to the FBO or parking or hangars. Signs direct them to remain clear of the runway. Thanks for a good stay!

FBO - Abita Skies just opened 5/10, fresh facilities and fuel station. Nice location - in abita springs - nearby brewery and eateries. Stopped by and checked out abita springs cafe for breakfast. Small coffee shop out front had the finest Affogato.

New asphalt on the runway and fresh paint. Really smooth and paint contrast against the asphalt well. Pilots lounge looks totally new with access being from an electronic door lock which the code is the last four of the CTAF. Fine spot to land.
