June 12, planed my first fuel stop on the XC OH-NV; Friday morning, there was no fuel, no NOTAM, and nobody around. A local directed me to the fuel tank (marked for both Jet A and 100LL; dual tank), then mentioned that, yeah, they had run out of fuel yesterday. This was my second bad experience here (the last one was on an unattended Saturday), and I needed service. Nobody ever answers the phone numbers posted on the building, and then you're left talking with the sheriff's dispatcher.

Affordable fuel, particularly for this region. I will always land here when returning. The Avgas pump might stick if you press the lever all the way, so avoid going full force if you are almost full. It will slowly shut off by itself or you can assist it. They offer a fine snack bar inside. There is technically a crew car, yes, but I did not observe where the keys might be. On edit: perhaps on the refrigerator? The E-W runway appeared to be undergoing resurfacing the week of Oct 6 2025, still requires markings.

Good quick fuel stop and fine prices. The shorter runway is in marginal shape, long one is flawless. Be warned the fuel nozzle does not stop pumping unless you physically push the lever back to the closed position.
