My magneto failed, threatening a week-long delay. Tim and his incredible crew immediately went into action! He quickly sourced a top-notch mechanic and made every resource available. What could have been a nightmare week of downtime was transformed into just two nights. Outstanding support and professionalism! Thank you for getting me flying again so fast! The mechanic and Tim were in the hanger till 11:30PM getting me back in the air! Cannot even wish for better service and support!

Stopped here for an impromptu weather diversion. I truly cannot express enough about the friendliness of the personnel. Fuel was brought to the plane a few minutes after shutdown and cold waters supplied. The facility has brand new large hangars for overnight stays and a new FBO almost finished. (Temporary pilot lounge available) Courtesy pickup available for quick in-town runs. Will certainly be returning in the near future. A big thank you to the folks at Southland!

FBO and associated hangars destroyed during Hurricanes Laura and Delta in 2020. Landed here in January 2021 and not a soul was around. Looks like fuel trucks and a makeshift FBO building in a trailer, but nobody answered when we called or knocked. Would truly like to see this facility return soon.
