October 12, 2025Mason is a fine small airport. The terminal structure has a modest open space with a table and TV, plus a screen showing the AWOS. There are lavatories in the facility. Self service fuel is recent and functions properly. KTEW has a flight school so remain mindful of students practicing in the vicinity. I strongly suggest Klavon's Pizza for lunch/ dinner, which is just a couple miles away. Uber/Lyft is mostly unavailable. No courtesy car.

May 26, 2024Landed here yesterday for some proficiency training. The terminal structure lacks much besides some water and lavatories. There is fuel also.

September 18, 2023Do not let the absence of a crew car deter you. Airport is a quite simple 20-25 min walk from central Mason. Walked to town for a good dinner at Los Tres Amigos. Ample ramp area for parking but as others mention, no visitor tie downs/chocks. Terminal bldg uses standard code and is 24/7.
