April 13, 2025Approach control has odd hours; check NOTAMs. Ranger Aviation 100LL service is available after hours for a $75 fee according to someone on the phone, but 100LL self-serve is working as of 03/10/2025.

April 4, 2025Local practice area frequency is "Roscoe Common" on 123.3 . Practice areas surround KSJT out to 30nm. Most instruction happens below 5,500ft. Broad IFR training in vicinity of KSJT.

December 27, 2024Parked at San Angelo Jet in a C680 on 12/20-12/22/24. The line personnel and front desk staff were wonderful. A fairly new facility, they gave the crew a tour. Refreshing! That said, the ownership requires improvement. They are really more a flight school than a jet center. They could not service our lav and had no method of moving our aircraft into the wind. This was unacceptable considering they advertise as a jet center!

Controlling Object Distance From Runway End: Road 270 ft right at controlling point runway 18.
