Fine airport with a parachute operation. Radio call itself Shelton. I arrived on a Sunday and there was a Food truck. The passport stamp is not at the ramp area but in the T hangars closer to the runways.

Had a nasty issue with self serve fuel pumps. Card was used to purchase 10 gals 100ll. Card wasn't charged. Then a fraud alert was put on my card. THEN when my bud tried to pump fuel 20 minutes later, HIS card got charged for my fuel! We then spent the next 2 hours trying to resolve issue. CC company said they have had fraud issues with that terminal. Not one person around to contact.

Flew in to conduct some business in Shelton. Kapowsin was super welcoming and useful. They went out of their way to locate me vehicle to run into town with. Good people, and clearly a well oiled machine getting the skydivers into the sky. Be very careful of skydiving ops next to the field! Stay South or well clear of the field on clear days and listen to radio calls.
