June 21, 2026Jet-A-Way Cafe upstairs in the Million Air FBO is really solid. Definitely a 10/10 recommendation. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with lemon pomme frites, and both were excellent. The servers were courteous and stayed really on top of things.

June 9, 20266/6/26 SR22T. PPR required for every aircraft. Call five minutes prior to entering the pattern; AWOS directs you to flysgu.com, so I probably should of checked the NOTAMs more closely. Watch for jets doing 180s and back-taxiing on the runway while the taxiways are under construction. Communicate, communicate, communicate. All the pilots were friendly and worked together for safe spacing. Airlines are glad to give way, but keep their release times in mind. If requested, extend or go around.

June 7, 2026Busy airport, and the terrain means you’ve got to keep your attention split accordingly. Hopefully the new tower will help traffic move more smoothly.
