June 18, 2026Great little airport near St. Louis, with friendly people and solid services. Really appreciated Scott Marquardt at Sparta Aero Services, Inc. in Sparta, IL helping me out with a starting problem on a Lancair. I stopped in for fairly priced self-serve 100LL and ended up with a hot-start issue on a big Continental engine. Scott had me back in the air!
