July 2, 2026Excellent service on a Sunday. The airport manager met me after hours and made sure everything was handled. Self-serve was simple to operate, crew car was available, and the FBO had plenty of snacks and drinks stocked.

June 10, 2026Be careful dealing with Ponderosa. I've stopped at KSAD plenty of times before for fuel in both military and civilian aircraft. On a recent visit, I went into the same building I'd used on earlier trips (the one owned by Ponderosa) to use the bathroom. A guy in the back office immediately told me, in a very rude way, to leave the building. My fault for not knowing the FBO had moved across the airfield, away from the self serve. Still, there was no reason to act like that...just put up a sign if it matters that much.
