June 19, 2026Both the runway and taxiway are in great shape. While I was fueling up and using the clean restroom, two business jets arrived and landed south to north despite a 15-knot wind out of the south. They can’t descend from the north because of the 9000+ ft ridge immediately north of the airport.

May 11, 2026The FBO crew is incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though the airport doesn’t have a courtesy car at the moment, the employees will gladly give pilots a ride into town whenever they’re able. A lot of the staff are students in Utah State University Eastern’s professional pilot program, and they do an excellent job making visiting pilots feel welcome.

May 13, 2025Awesome airport! We broke a tailwheel on a remote strip and needed AN bolts on a Saturday. The mechanic on the field was waiting for me when I arrived. Got us fixed up and we got the plane back to our backcountry base @ Mineral Canyon.
