July 13, 2026KONO is a pretty nice airport. The self-serve pump was acting up for me, though one of the FBO staff came out and manually switched it on! That was solid customer service. The pilot lounge is nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Looks like there is only one courtesy car available right now. It was already out when I arrived, so I ended up having lunch delivered to the FBO instead. All in all, a nice field and a decent FBO!

September 6, 2024If relying on a taxi for transport to town, forget about it. Cab driver stated the 2- mile journey would be $150! There is no Uber or Lyft in the area.

April 12, 2023Runway and taxi way in good shape. Pilots lounge is very small with a dirty bathroom that has no soap. Unable to contact anyone in regards to the courtesy car. Does not seem like they have one available anymore.
