March 2, 2026Nice airport, friendly staff, and a good cafe. The rising terrain on the left downwind for runway 22 doesn't really seem ideal to me, but I made it work. I took an Uber into town and had some of the best Mexican food I've eaten in years, though Uber and Lyft are hit or miss around here. Ended up waiting about 15 minutes.

November 9, 2025Beautiful small airport, however, the notes say LEFT TRAFFIC for 22. It is recommended to use RIGHT TRAFFIC 22. There is rising slope and ridge on that left downwind and base turn, as well as, blinding sunset on base to final.
