June 23, 2026I really enjoyed flying in and spending a few days at this very unique airport. The owner, Robert DeLaurentis, has put a lot of passion into transforming the place. I had done plenty of research and corresponded with Robert before arriving, so I knew some of the background. My aircraft was the first Jabiru to land there, and I was also the first camper. Yep, camping can be done with advance approval and a small fee. I fueled the plane myself with 100LL. The posted instructions are easy to follow, and the whole thing went smoothly.

March 24, 2026Made it back to KOKH for the first time in 40 years. A local explained that fuel is now available to everyone from a trailer by the parking area. A little complicated, but manageable. Landing fees may show as 20$ in some places, but for small airplanes they have been reduced from 20 to 10$. Very fair considering the money invested in the airport, and the same as Roche Harbor, Point Roberts, etc. Nice pilot lounge/ rest room with showers too. New runway! I’ll definitely return. Friendly locals.
