May 27, 2026Excellent airport for taking on fuel and staying overnight for a few days. The line guy was extremely helpful once we landed and checked what we needed, and the office staff was just as helpful. Watch out for birds in the area-they’ll build nests inside the cowl above the engine. I had to clear out two nests on back-to-back days. They got past the cowl plugs; those birds were determined. Bird droppings on the cowl or spinner are the giveaway. Aside from that, it’s a great stop.

September 8, 2025Hidden Gem - this is a nice municipally owned and run airport. Quite good fuel costs and very welcoming helpful people. Brand new fuel depot (you can observe the former one) but it is somewhat of a walk, 150 yards, to the also new lovely terminal/FBO (again, city owned and run). Complimentary drinks, WiFi and light food. Highly suggested. And an extra - there a Boing 747 parked on the ramp that apparently is being parted out. It is massive, and neat!
