January 16, 2026Stopped in for the first time while learning a new plane and had already heard great things about the airport. I can confirm, its a nice little airport to fly into, with a humble little FBO that has big ambitions! A lot of cool stuff is being planned, and the staff is super friendly. The manager seems really passionate about sharing aviation with younger generations and is looking to bring the next generation of pilots into our world right there in KMAO!

July 9, 2025Stopped at Marion Co for a weather delay, Charles and his crew could not have been more welcoming. Have stopped there previously for fuel, so I knew this was the finest spot to wait out a storm cell passing thru.
