Monticello Municipal/Ellis Field (KLLQ)

There isn't enough room to mention every great thing about this FBO. The staff was very accommodating! They had 3 courtesy cars, old cop cars, which I thought were pretty cool too. After-hours access to the FBO is available as well. I would absolutely land here again. 10/10, would recommend it to others!

Weather left us stuck, so we arrived at the last minute. Carl at the FBO was incredibly kind and welcoming. The facility is nice, with great hanger space, plus there's a friendly dog named Bernie. We stayed at the Hampton Inn, which was clean and comfortable, with a good bed, and only 10 minutes from the FBO.

Fine Airport! Good kept runway with simple reachable self served fuel. Pilot lounge clean and warm for these late cold nights. I did my 300nm XC VFR CPL and pick this airport because of the comments and they did not let down.
