Contacted Sky Bright FBO a few days before with our tail number and arrival time. They were extremely helpful and arranged to have a rental car waiting for us upon arrival. Once on the ground we were contacted over the CTAF and instructed where to park. They marshaled us in and had the car parked right there and helped us transfer all of our luggage. Lee from Sky Bright was very pleasant to work with and made the process smooth. We will be back for certain.

Beautiful airport by Lake Winnipesaukee. There's plenty transient parking on the north side of the field by taxiway Echo. Rich from Emerson was very attentive during refueling and it's a short walk from parking to the main building. There are well marked areas on the transient ramp for a run up, and if you prefer self service fueling, there's a pump by the main terminal building (parking space limited) or by taxiing well north of the transient ramp to Emerson's self serve pump.

Beware - for some reason in 2020, runway 26 was switched to left traffic. This puts you directly over terrain that hinders a final approach longer than seemingly half a mile. When there's a direct crosswind (usually off the lake but in both directions) you will encounter turbulence and not be able to set yourself up for a stabilized approach. I would like to hear the reasoning for the switch in 2020.
