March 14, 2024Dropped in at KIPT on a gusty day ahead of a line of T-storms in a Cherokee 235. Tower was super helpful getting me to the FBO. The line guy was waiting for me when I pulled up and he was fueling the plane within minutes of my parking. Later, I called to get the plane hangered overnight because of the weather coming and the line guy was very helpful in getting it inside. Also, if you come to Williamsport make sure you don't leave without eating at Dolly's Diner West location.

October 6, 2023Flew in here for Brunch/lunch without a real plan (airport restaurant has been permanently closed). Crew car was inop but we were told we could walk to the places on Broad St. It was a a beautiful Oct day so we chose to. About a 15 min walk but man did we find a treasure at Mel's Deli and Cafe. Good service, friendly waitresses (Kara and Carrie) and fine food. I had a superb cheesesteak (not a "Philly" but one of the finest I've ever had), my buddy had a toasted ham/cheese, also excellent

April 15, 2022Fantastic airport, good FBO at energy aviation. I highly suggest Dollys diner for breakfast, make certain you go to the west location, as there are multiple eating places in the area. Cant wait to return and visit!
