May 12, 2026As of May 2026, there still isn't an FBO. I talked with a consultant to the mayor, and apparently they're working toward getting one in place. Thankfully, pilots have a pedestrian gate on the northwest corner of the ramp, located between the historic Ford Trimotor hangar and the restaurant. The combination is CTAF. Transient pilots have no way to bring a car onto the ramp. Enterprise is on the field, outside the fence, about 100 yards east of the flight school. When the flight school is open, you can cut through it, though its hours depend on lesson times.

November 3, 2025Very fine airport and not too busy. Fuel Nozzle issue appears to be fixed. Work good and cost was very sensible for the locale. Good eatery too. Directions to get to eatery can be found below. About 20-30 to shoreline by Uber/Taxi.

May 31, 2025Truly very fine airport, super convenient to pick up my daughter living in Chicago. Only complaint is the fuel pump sticks real bad and it's almost impossible not to overfill/spill...:( It would be wonderful if they can fix that or replace the nozzle.
