June 6, 2026The FBO is Beach Aviation Services: 843-397-9111 (through 11am) • Ramp fee: GlobalAir lists it as “Yes - overnight fee only.” Daytime ramp parking and tie-downs are typically available without a stated charge, particularly when buying fuel (self-serve 100LL and Jet A are available 24/7). • No landing fee at the airport • Overnight/tie-down: An overnight ramp or tie-down charge applies. Hangar space can be rented as well. After-hours service comes with its own separate fee.

March 7, 2026Made a stop at KHYW today and everything went really well. The runway and taxiways are in excellent shape, and the FBO was clean and up to date. Dan was on duty and couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. The courtesy car was available and worked out great for me. Overall, a very pleasant visit-I’ll definitely recommend KHYW to friends and will be back for sure.

December 11, 2025ForeFlight take note: the published airfield diagram is wrong. There is NO midfield taxiway joining the runway to the ramp. The airfield and ramp and fuel are all in good shape. However there was zero assistance from any employee. It is a municipal facility, I know they are not in it for profit or customer service. I have used nearby KCPC, also a municipal facility with so much better service. Given a choice I will always go to CPC now.
