June 4, 2026The TRACAB has recently taken on a bunch of new controllers in training, and with the east runway opening back up too, every bit of traffic is really appreciated by them!

April 2, 2026Just contacted Signature Flight Support at HSV and the CSR told me they don't arrange rental services for anyone-they'll only take me over to the rental car desk. I said, "I have always arranged cars through the FBO," but they said there policy has changed. Well, my policy is to use another airport so I can avoid Signature Flight Support! MQY WAS HAPPY TO GET MY BUSINESS AND ARRANGE MY RENTAL REQUISITION!

April 19, 2025Flew in late on a Friday evening in a C172. The airport was quite quiet, tower was very welcoming. I could tell that they appreciated having a little 172 putt around when nothing else was happening. I'm keen to observe how things are when it's busy during the day!
